Copper Penny and Step In Time both disappointed on their most recent starts having won the time before and look best passed over in a race taken to go to MALCHEEK. Tim Easterby's gelding has finished third in his last two starts, latterly when running better than expected behind Wake Up Call at Yarmouth, and he looks worth chancing in what looks a weaker race today. Noel Wilson's Floor Show has been running well in recent starts over six furlongs but he is probably better over that trip than the seven that he races over today. Ruth Carr's runners are in better heart now so Imperial Djay has to be considered along with Poppet's Lovein, from the yard of Andy Haynes but she seems a shade high in the weights at present.
