Verdict

JUDGE 'N JURY is a speedy type and he can bounce back to form here. Ron Harris's gelding flopped here last month but his previous form at Epsom in June means he is high on the list. The ground will suit and assuming his high draw isn't a complete negative he can land another win over five furlongs. Captain Carey is gallant but his Southwell run suggests he's in the handicapper's grip, Fathom Five should feature if ridden with more restraint, whilst Monsieur Joe has some rock solid course form to his name. The speedy pair of Buachaill Dona and Fol Hollow give 'Sprint King' Dandy Nicholls a leading chance and he won the race with Strike Up The Band in 2008, whilst Prohibit ran a blinder in the Stewards' Cup but his mark of 100 might just be beyond him.
