Paddywack has been on the go all season and off a decent mark can return to winning ways, with topweight and the hard to catch right Strensall in with a shout. The latter has been a frustrating sort, fancied on a number of occasions before coming good again at Catterick recently. Successful at Newbury in July, he has the ability but will he use it this time. Artie has the assistance of Kieren Fallon and was a beaten favourite last time. Tim Easterby's charge has taken on good company in the past, but like Strensall, has a high draw to overcome. Paddywack is in stall 10 but can track the pace throughout, whichever side forces it, and he will be finishing fast and late. A winner here in the past, the six-year-old looks interesting off his current rating and gets the vote in an otherwise open contest.
