This is a hard getting out stakes for punters but it would be no surprise if Messe de Minuit were to prove good enough at the first time of asking, with Smart Danny and Zeitgeist likely to improve enough to take a hand in proceedings. In a typical end of season maiden, most will turn up just to get a bit of education before being put away for the winter so bets should be kept on the small side. Messe de Minuit is owned by the Mountgrange Stud and has been working well enough at home to tempt Roger Charlton into unleashing him here rather than waiting until next season. He would not have to be a world beater to prevail and gets a tentative vote over Smart Danny and Zeitgeist who both shaped well enough on their respective debuts to merit a mention here.
