This Listed race has attracted a good line-up with the selection being Peppertree Lane ahead of Alfie Flits and Ivy Creek. A Listed winner at Windsor last season, Alfie Flits warmed up for this with a narrow defeat at Musselburgh. He should be peachey fit now and gets plenty of respect. Foxhaven will like the juice in the ground and he is closely weighted with Ivy Creek based on their Goodwood runs 23 days ago. Both are respected, as is Shahin, who split the pair that day. Peppertree Lane was a high-class handicapper last season and he confirmed his progressive nature when landing a Listed race at Newbury on his return. He looks poised to run well again. A Group 3 winner in 2005, The Geezer would hold a big chance if back to anywhere near that type of form and he has at least had a recent run to help his race-fitness. As we say, this is a good race, with the selection being Peppertree Lane.
