Roayh was engaged to run at Ayr yesterday with a penalty for last week's victory at Musselburgh which he won impressively. The result should obviously be monitored closely as whatever happens Jordan Nason's claim could prove invaluable. BEAUTIFUL STRANGER has only won once in 15 starts on Turf and that was over this course and distance in September. He's only 4lb higher and has been staying on strongly over 7f recently so looks set to double his winning tally on the surface. Both of Gannicus' victories have been at Bath on fast ground and he's now on hishighest mark but he should get involved providing the going doesn't ease. Quinta Feira had his one and only start on Turf at Bath last month and duly obliged though that was a poor handicap on very fast ground. Imaginary World rarely runs on Turf these days but is very well handicapped if anywhere near his best while David O'Meara's new acquisition Harwoods Volante is being tried at this trip for the first time after 17 runs and three victories over shorter.
