Samtheman and STRATFORD STROLLER may well fight out the finish of a weak-looking hunter chase. The former clearly retains some ability as he was a fair third at Ludlow last month, though he was well beaten when second at Fontwell last time and there are serious stamina doubts over this trip. He also has to give 4lb to Alastair Ralph's three-times point-to-point winner, who was beaten less than a length under Rules at Bangor at the start of this month. The others look a largely desperate bunch but De Forgotten Man would have a chance on past form.
