Sofie Tucker was well fancied last time out but let favourite backers down when finishing third; we will give her another chance and make her the selection ahead of Garden Party, Monsoon Wedding and stablemate Hurricane Thomas. The selection hasn't finished out of the first three on her four starts to date and if we rate her on her second to impressive prospect Costume at Ripon on her second start, then she should win here. She didn't pick up last time out on rain-softened ground, however it may just be that she is one-paced (mixed pedigree: related to several stayers) and so this step up in trip may be right up her alley. Hurricane Thomas looks the pick of Mark Johnston's pair on jockey bookings and he should come on his recent outing at Hamilton. Sir Michael Stoute is a master with the headgear and his Garden Party sports the first-time visor today. The return to this trip may also suit and he must rate a danger travelling up to Yorkshire. Casual Affair and Falimar are two more to consider, however Sofie Tucker is fancied to score at the fifth time of asking.
