Fantastic Pick is bound to be popular in the ring ahead of this nursery having not been out of the first two in three starts in the grade but Brian Meehan's gelding has gone up another 5lbs despite finding one too good at Nottingham on his most recent start last month so he may now be in the grip of the grip of the handicapper and it may be worth taking a chance with THE MIGHTY MOD, who gets the vote over Aattash. Mick Channon's colt has run well in his last two starts in nurseries and he should again be thereabouts, especially having been dropped 2lbs since his most recent start. Rescent was trained by Rae Guest when a narrow winner of a Newcastle claimer when last seen in August and now makes his debut for Ruth Carr but he seems plenty high enough in the weights for what he has achieved so far. Dolphin Rock is consistent but keeps on finding at least one too good and it may be worth taking a chance with The Mighty Mod. Mark Johnston's colt has been well held in all three starts so far but he looks to be potentially well treated off a mark of just 58 for his nursery debut and may be worth chancing.
