Acadian Angel ran green on her debut at Newcastle and couldn't get to the winner but had better fancied rivals behind and will have come on a bundle. Always Thankful showed good pace in both starts without finding a finishing burst while CHICAGO STAR stayed on strongly over 7f at Newmarket so it's a surprise to see her dropping back in trip. But the latter might still prove good enough here as Sugar Beach, who started off with a fair effort at Ripon, didn't make the anticipated progress. Suited did better than expected at Newcastle and should make progress this campaign and the market is best watched for any positives regarding the newcomers as this won't take much winning.
