In depth

Verdict

Three of these stand out on today’s terms. Rathbone and Amplify are closely matched at the weights and the latter drops back down in trip after a couple of recent starts over a mile. ALFRED BOUCHER has a few pounds to find with the former pair but is less exposed and with improvement expected this year, Henry Candy’s grey gets the vote having been narrowly beaten by a subsequent Group 3 winner at Nottingham when last in action. The remainder look up against it unless the newcomers Obee Jo and Luna Princess prove well above average.
