Joseph O'Brien saddles three in this opener. Light Breeze is the only one to have run having been beaten a long way at Cork on Sunday. Snapraeceps is a daughter of Canford Cliffs out of a mare who won from 6f to a mile while Vivax is by Dandy Man out of a mare who has already produced eight winners. With Dermot Weld's horses still flying, Dee Sprinter, who is closely related to three winners up to 7f, and Feather Step, a half-sister to two winners, have to enter calculations. Sarah Jessica should be ideally suited by the trip though BASIC LAW made a bright start behind the well-supported Wargrave on the opening day of the Flat season and that experience can enable him to go one better. Pocotaligo made a promising reappearance at Navan and wouldn't need much more to get into the frame.
