Aidan O'Brien struck form over the weekend and his two runners here are greatly respected. Four Leaf Clover is by Galileo out of a mare who has produced winners with all twelve foals to race including Group 1 winner Flag Of Honour. She finished just in front of stable companion Quote, a E400,000 daughter of Galileo and closely related to eight winners, when mid-division at Leopardstown in October. MARIA CHRISTINA was close up in fourth in that event when catching the eye with a nice late run. With her yard in outstanding form she looks the one to beat though Jim Bolger's Solage, a E700,000 yearling, is another daughter of Galileo and cost E1m in December after a narrow defeat in a Longchamp maiden a month earlier. There are plenty of other well-connected newcomers including Xcite, who is closely related to the useful One Spirit.
