In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston runs two of the three runners with ROCHESTER HOUSE having much the best form of that pair. The latter was beaten only a length behind the odds-on Dante and Derby entry El Misk at Newcastle on last week’s debut and this extra distance looks sure to suit. Stablemate Nordano finished last of 13 at Kempton on his introduction in November but Irish Derby entry Rowland Ward looks more of threat stepping up in distance for his reappearance having recorded modest efforts over a mile last term.
