The consistent Up Tempo and last time out winners Kodiac and Chatshow all have to be respected here but preference is for Fantasy Crusader, who gets the vote to follow up his Epsom success. The selection has always shown his best form at this time of year so it was no surprise to see him bounce back to form at Epsom last week and off just a 5lb higher mark John Quinn's gelding has an obvious chance. John Dunop's Kodiac was good value for his win at Newmarket last time but has more to do off a 6lb higher mark today, while Kevin Ryan's Up Tempo has done little wrong of late and is entitled to be thereabouts again. The David Nicholls-trained Pieter Brueghel showed his best form for some time when second at Newcastle last month and has to be respected along with Alan Bailey's Glaramara, who showed signs of a revival at Doncaster on his most recent start. Richard Fahey's Flying Bantam is gradually slipping to a fair mark and is another worthy of a mention but the vote goes to Fantasy Crusader, who is taken to follow up his Epsom success.
