In depth

Verdict

Bollin Derek, Winds of Change and Special Moment are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Bollin Derek. The selection may have a penalty for his recent win at Southwell but he was eased down that day and could have won much more easily. He is progressive and he looks like one to stay on the right side of. Winds Of Change was disappointing last time when she did not look entirely straightforward but she does have ability and if she decides to put her best foot forward she will not be far away at the finish. Special Moment was hampered last time out at Beverley when she finished third behind Marachi Band. That race has worked out quite well so she is entitled to respect. Northerner ran well last time and could prove best of the rest, but for the winner we will stick with Bollin Derek.
