Hunting Party, Mustamad and Barodine are all shortlisted in this maiden and the vote is given to Hunting Party. The selection showed some modest form last season and then put in an improved effort on his seasonal reappearance at Wolverhampton behind Tempsford Flyer. He is sure to come on for the run and with the step-up in trip also in his favour he gets the vote. Mustamad is a half-brother to Maraahel and this newcomer from the Sir Michael Stoute yard is certainly worth a look in the market with his yard in decent form. Barodine showed plenty of promise in his two runs last season and he looks capable of winning races, but he has been off the track since October and may just need the run today. Balanced Budget made a pleasing debut at Newbury when he was not given a hard time so he could be better today, but for the winner we will stick with Hunting Party.
