Hostage has a visor on for the first time which may spark some improvement however the percentage call is to take him on and we will do so with Nice To Know ahead of Keisha Kayleigh. The selection steps up slightly in trip for her handicap debut this afternoon and her pedigree (by Machiavellian out of a Selkirk mare) suggests that today's soft ground could be right up her ally. Whilst she hasn't set the world alight so far in her three runs, there have been definite signs of ability and a mark of 64 for her handicap debut looks fairly enticing. World At My Feet and The Mighty Ogmore both bounced back with decent efforts last time out but could be up against it today, so of more interest may be Keisha Kayleigh. A winner last time out, Bryan Ellison's filly showed a good attitude that day but lets face it; that was a poor seller and she will need to step up here to trouble the judge. Very Well Red was well held last time out and may now be in the grip of Mr. Handicapper, so Hostage could be a more apparent threat. Her pedigree suggests that she will handle this ground however a first-time visor will need to work if she is to go in today. A tricky affair really, and whilst each-way players may want to take a chance on Apsara who won't mind the ground and stays well, we will select Nice To Know you to land the spoils.
