COLONIAL JIM makes some appeal with his yard going great guns but we'd be interested in Pepito Collonges, Spartan Place and Indefensible. Neil Mulholland's charge was gambled on when unseating in a chase at Fontwell last month but he's more than capable of recouping those losses back over timber. He went up by 26lbs for winning back to back races in November but he has few miles on the clock and the way that he was backed last time suggests that connections feel he's capable of scoring from his revised mark. Pepito Collonges scored by twenty lengths just over a week ago so it's no surprise to see him turned out under a penalty. He could be all the rage following that performance but he did have things his own way out in front and it could be worth fielding against him. Spartan Place appears to have retained his ability after a spell out for injury and could benefit from the return to hurdling whilst Indefensible starts his handicap career on a realistic mark and needs to be monitored for support. Roisin's Prince is relatively consistent whilst Burgess Hill had been in good form prior to a disappointing run at the start of the month and can't be ruled out with confidence. A tricky puzzle to which Colonial Jim may be the answer.
