Scrape The Paint is the interesting one but stronger claims are held by Compton Star and the selection MUCHO LOCO. Evan Williams has his team in good form and Scrape The Paint may well be able to step up on the form of his previous three starts now handicapping at a modest level. The market can guide as there's been little obvious promise in his three career starts to date. Compton Star has been struggling recently but this drop in class may help him to turn things around and the handicapper has given him every chance. The selection reappeared after a winter break to run in a Huntingdon handicap that also featured She's Humble. He won back to back races in this grade last year under today's pilot and he should be capable of going close again following that pipe-opener although he is a good deal higher in the weights than when last successful. We're not mad about his chances but Mucho Loco may turn out to be the best of this bunch on the day.
