settled in last place, stayed on steadily final 3f, pushed along to go 2nd over 2f out, no impression on winner
set good pace, soon well clear, steadied after 5f, headed 3f out, ridden and lost 2nd over 2f out, soon weakened
raced keen, tracked leaders, pulled away into 2nd after 5f to 5f out, soon weakened rapidly, virtually pulled up final 2f
tracked clear leader, settled 3rd after 5f, tracked leader going well 5f out, led 3f out, ridden clear
The Paul Nicholls-trained Sean At The Ivy disappointed when 5/4 favourite for a bumper at Folkestone on his only previous start, when weakening from halfway before being pulled up, and is difficult to recommend so this may be best left to one of the two newcomers with preference for Time To Reflect over Celtic Ruffian. The last mentioned is a son of Celio Rufo trained by Richard Rowe but preference is for Martin Pipe's Anshan gelding Time To Reflect, who would not need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut. Herecomestanley, who was well beaten on his Stratford debut, makes very limited appeal.
