Verdict

Figaro Du Rocher is the confident choice here with Jewell of India the one most likely to challenge our selection. The Martin Pipe gelding ran well when a good second to Boing Boing at Huntingdon last time and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough here. Jewell of India is the main danger and was a disappointing favourite at Stratford when a well-beaten 6th behind My Legal Eagle. He had previously won well at Huntingdon, but may have his stamina limitations exposed once again here so is opposed for that reason. Of the rest, Jayed and My Ace could both be interesting if they are supported in the market, but we are happy to side with Figaro Du Rocher.
