shied away from tape, behind, ridden from 4 out, never a danger
tracked leader, mistake 4th, joined leader 3 out, soon led, ridden approaching 2 out, headed approaching last, one pace
held up, driven for headway 4 out, ridden to chase leaders 2 out, led approaching last, ridden clear flat
led, challenged when hit 3 out, headed soon after, ridden and faded
held up and keen, close order 6th, ridden soon after 3 out, weakened 2 out
held up tracking leaders, reminders 6th, ridden and mistake next, soon lost touch
Another open affair here and the main protagonists look to be Governor Daniel, Shamsan and Doucer Des Songes and we will take a chance on Governor Daniel. The gelding from the Ian Williams yard has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest second behind Doberman would make him hard to beat. Shamsan rates the main danger on his latest second behind Jonalton but his best form of late is over further. Of the remainder Doucer Des Songes would have a chance on his best form but he never runs two races a like so we are happy to side with the more reliable Governor Daniel.
