A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Waterliner, Shaman and Prince Slayer and we will take a chance on Waterliner. The gelding is one of the least exposed in the field and a reproduction of his latest third behind Dusty Too would make him hard to beat. Prince Slayer would have a chance on his best form and the booking of Tony McCoy catches the eye so he is worth noting in the market. Shaman is also worthy of respect. He was a fair fifth behind Breathtaking View last time out in a better race and he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Saddlers Quest is from a yard in form but we are happy to side with the unexposed Waterliner.
