Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this chase and the main protagonists look to be Radcliffe, Game On and Motcomb Jam and we will take a chance on Radcliffe. The gelding from the Venitia Williams yard was a fair second behind Rose Tina last time out and with the step up in trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Game On was second behind Blakeney Coast last time out but he was beaten a distance and he will need to improve on that effort to win this. Motcomb Jam and Themanfromcarlisle have shown enough ability in hurdles to warrant respect but they may just come on for this their first attempt over fences so we are happy to side with Radcliffe.
