Verdict

HE'S A HOTSHOT knows his way round the track and is preferred to Tubber Gael Holly and Sierra Peak in yet another small field. The tricolours of Ireland may be flying high once again here as the Irish runners look the most likely winners. The selection was a winner over the course and distance last time, having previously finished second on three other occasions here. He has a 5lb rise in the weights for that win but now he has got his head in front he could improve further. Tubber Gael Holly won well at Stratford in June and then was brought down over hurdles at Southwell earlier this month. She is 7lb higher than her win but she is closely matched with the selection on their run here in May and should give a bold show. Seeyaaj and Go Silver Bullet represent Lucinda Russell and of the pair the latter is the more interesting. He was chasing a hat-trick here last time out but was pulled up as if something was amiss; if back on song he could run well although he has stamina to prove still and plenty of weight to carry. Sierra Peak, third on a recent chasing bow at the track is not one to take lightly, however it is He's A Hotshot who can live up to his name.
