SUMMER SOUL and Regent's Secret may be the two to concentrate on here and marginal preference is for Lucinda Russell's runner. The selection is dropped in class today following a decent enough effort in defeat here last time out. He does drop markedly in trip here which must be of some concern to this two mile flat horse, however he may have the class to see him through. Regent's Secret is another dual performer; Jim Goldie's runner has the cheek-pieces reapplied today following a run in the visor on the flat last time and although he isn't totally straightforward (last win was in July 2008), this is the time of year that the course and distance winner seems to be at his best. Jealous Guy is a modest horse on the flat in Ireland and he is hard to fancy on just his second hurdles start unless the market screams in his favour, Killiney Present is well-bred for the game but this point-to-pointer has shown little on the course, whilst Sadler's Cove is back over hurdles following a lacklustre chasing run last time. Piccolo Pride may improve, however preference is for Summer Soul.
