Reap The Reward escapes a penalty for his win in a conditional jockeys' race at Ayr last week and can actually race off a 5lb lower mark today so gets the vote to follow up, with the main dangers looking to be Powerlove and Kirkside Pleasure. The last two mentioned are both trained by Sue Bradburne and both have similar claims coming here in winning form but with more to do off their new marks. Recent Market Rasen winner Custom Design looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved and of more interest may be Tom George's Bar Gayne, who seemed to handle the fast ground well enough at Hereford last time. Chief Dan George ran promisingly at Kelso three weeks ago but may want a softer surface, while August Rose looks a shade high in the weights at present and may have to settle for a minor role again. Reap The Reward has an obvious chance on his Ayr form though and is taken to win again.
