Verdict

Shanroe Street beat RAINY CITY by two lengths at Carlisle but the runner-up is now 5lb better off and fancied to turn the tables on a course on which he’s won in the past. Some Are Lucky reappeared with a victory at Leicester but was then only third when favourite at Wincanton, though possibly didn’t handle the heavy going. The top weight makes more appeal than the largely disappointing Teddy Tee. Strong Resemblance is preferred to Calivigny of the others.
