Just That Lord won easily at Lingfield last time but was caught in the closing stages attempting to make all in last year’s renewal with SHAMSHON (NAP) back in fourth. The latter re-opposes on much more favourable terms today and gave notice of a return to winning ways with a second at Chelmsford last time. He finished in front of Midnight Malibu at Southwell before that and the latter has subsequently gone close at the same track while Tavener has also been in fine form on the all-weather. He’s won two of his last three starts and beat Compas Scoobie at Chelmsford on his latest outing. Tarboosh showed progressive form last year and should be sharper for a recent reappearance in a higher grade sprint than this.
