In depth

Verdict

Simoon has been off the track since winning a maiden at Kempton in 2016 and is conceding plenty of weight to the three-year-olds including KING OF THE SAND. The latter ended last season with an easy win at Brighton and Ryan Moore takes over the reins on his reappearance. Master Of Wine disappointed at Sandown last summer having gone close at the same track on his earlier debut and has been gelded subsequently while Mokhles is a half-brother to a couple of winners and the Godolphin newcomer may prove best of the remainder.
