Dutch Canyon is 0-26 in career starts but wasn’t beaten far when second last time at Musselburgh, though is now 3lb higher. The Jam Man has been enjoying himself on recent trips across the Irish Sea, rattling up a hat-trick last month under today’s rider. He’s gone up a further 9lb, however, and has changed stables. Late Date is 4lb higher than when successful last year and hasn’t raced since June while Jimmy Bell is struggling to get his head in front. Dotties Dilema’s last two victories have come over fences and she’s been off the track since November but she did win over hurdles at Cartmel last August. MARAWEH can’t get much lower in the weights and showed a bit more last time at Kelso. He likes it here so is not without a chance of causing an upset.
