Another potential banana skin here for punters, with Bob's Gone the percentage selection to see off Cosmic Case and San Dimas. A 10lb claim should help course and distance winner Bob's Gone considerably, and he will relish this return to Perth, where he won last time out in very similar conditions. He can be a bit of an in-and-out performer though, so a big punt is not advised, but he has plenty going for him and we will take him to small stakes. Jim Goldie has been having a good time of it on the Flat lately and he runs both Cosmic Case and Gargoyle Girl here. The former would prefer quicker ground than this to be at her best, but her Flat form gives her every chance of making the frame, while Gargoyle Girl prefers genuine good ground and as a course and distance winner in a similar contest in June, she merits the utmost respect on her return to the track. San Dimas is another to consider, but is another who prefers it quicker and has a bit to prove after his latest effort, so we will stick with Bob's Gone to defy topweight.
