Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this intermediate chase and it looks a good opportunity for the ex french trained Kock De La Vesvre. The gelding from the Venitia Williams yard won in good style last time out when defeating Salvage over course and distance. That rival is better off at the weights in this contest but Kock De La Vesvre appeared to win with more in hand than the official margin suggests and may still be ahead of the handicapper. Winter Garden was a good second behind Cobbet last time out and that rival has since won again. Winter Garden has conditions in his favour and he is a danger to all off what looks a fair mark. Real Fire and Dushaan need to improve on there latest efforts to take a hand in the finish.
