In depth

Verdict

This trip may stretch the stamina of penalised four-year-old Cruachan and another recent Hexham scorer, SOLIS, is preferred. He's come right to his best on fast ground lately and may have another race in him before the handicapper has his say. Malin Bay still looks a few pounds too high but has place claims again and makes more appeal than Dj Milan with the latter's yard struggling for winners at present. Solway Bay has been chasing and both Taruma and Call Box have a bit to prove at present while Ryton Runner has shown no improvement for a tumble down the weights.
