BAYAN is a decent sort on the level and finished sixth in last month's Ulster Derby at Down Royal. He also won a maiden hurdle at Cork in March and is likely to have too much for Trend Is My Friend, who did score at Sedgefield in April but only beat one home when favourite for a low-grade handicap at Kelso subsequently. Potomac has run well twice at Kelso this year but struggles for consistency while Wot A Shot has failed to make the frame in six starts over timber. Tantamount has more scope, though finished last at Cartmel five weeks ago.
