Verdict

Apollo Creed is taken to win again with a seven pound penalty at the expense of Russian Sky and Thunder Hawk. The selection has winning form at Uttoxeter, Southwell and most recently at Worcester this summer and as a result he has risen 26 pounds. He does though still look like he is on the up grade and with everything in his favour once again he is given the chance to add to his tally. Russian Sky has a nice racing weight and looks nicely treated. He was in winning action over course and distance before disappointing at Sedgefield recently. He can be forgiven a bad run and if at his best he can once again enter the frame. Thunder Hawk is another to follow as he bids for a hat-trick after two wins in the point to point field and a win under rules at Hexham last time. His mark of 101 seems realistic so any market moves should be noted, but for the winner we return to Apollo Creed.
