In depth

Verdict

Greenock made an encouraging debut over fences and may be able to open his account at the second time of asking. Justwhateverulike has been in really good form of late but showed signs on his latest start that the handicapper may have caught up with him and he could prove vulnerable to a less exposed rival. The selection fits that bill as he has had just the nine career starts and just the one in this sphere. It would be no surprise were he to leave his form over the smaller obstacles behind and he produced a fair performance on his debut; he should have the speed for this trip. Newbay Bob ran well over course and distance last time and could get into the mix again from just a 1lb higher mark whilst Classic Harry could emerge as a contender for minor honours but Greenock can land the lion's share of the glory.
