CHAMPAGNE CHAMP (NAP) hasn’t won on the Flat since 2016 but is now 7lb lower and he bolted up over 2m4f over hurdles nine days ago at Ffos Las. He is clearly back on-song and should be capable of defying joint top weight. Knight Crusader won over 2m at Kempton last month and is lightly raced for his age so rates a danger. Orin Swift could figure if fully wound up and Outofthequestion started favourite at Lingfield last month, though was well beaten. Steaming hasn’t raced for exactly 12 months but was a promising sort back in 2017 and it’s interesting that he’s stayed in training.
