Ahmedy is taken to continue the winning thread at the expense of Coalpark, Silverhay and Al Hazim. Mick Channon's three-year-old made full use of the handicappers leniency to score at Folkestone and can still be considered to be above the handicapper vis-a-vis earlier form. Coalpark was the subject of many whispers before his most recent start though his backers knew their fate some way out as he disappointed badly. He is still off a mark that is credible and should be watched in the market for any signs of confidence. Silverhay kept on well for his amateur rider in a ladies race at Redcar. The calibre of competition looks better today and he has a stiff task off top-weight. Al Hazim was punted off the boards at Lingfield and is quickly returned to the turf after a very public flop. Williams Way ran much better than the form of his Sandown race suggests and could be potentially unexposed. Little Bob would be of interest in the event of soft ground obtaining. Ahmedy looks to have the most obvious formbook chance in a competitive affair.
