Lasting Legacy made a winning reappearance at Chelmsford but is probably out of her depth in this grade. Angel Power has won in Group 2 and Group 3 company but was lightly raced last year. Technique didn’t win last year but ran well on several occasions and makes more appeal than Abstinence. NOON STAR (NAP) was a short-priced favourite for last year’s Musidora but, unsurprisingly, proved no match for Snowfall. She was also well backed again later in the Ribblesdale but only managed sixth but is a previous winner here and this looks a good starting point for the new campaign.
