      In depth

      Verdict

DAZZLING GEM did herself no favours hanging and racing wide at Kempton last week and this left-handed track may suit the Hannon filly better. Hot In Havana finished well behind the selection while Betweenthesticks missed the break at Bath on his debut and better is expected. Lucy Lightfoot will find this easier than a debut task at Newmarket a fortnight ago and Jumbeau’s yard is in fine form.

      Formwatch

Betweenthesticks 12-1 (9-5) Slowly away and in rear, niggled along over 3f out, some headway over 1f out, kept on final furlong and took 4th final strides, 4th of 9, 7 1/2l behind Whistle And Flute (9-5) at Bath 5f stks (5) gs in Apr.

Mustango Muhaarar colt out of Last Tango.

Dazzling Gem (IRE) 13-2 (8-12) Raced in close 3rd out wide, hung badly left and dropped to last home turn, no chance after, went modest 3rd again over 1f out, 3rd of 4, 7 1/2l behind Ocean Cloud (9-5) at Kempton 5f stks (4) pol in Apr.

Lucy Lightfoot (IRE) 14-1 (9-0) Pulled hard chasing leaders, every chance 2f out, weakened over 1f out, 8th of 10, 10 1/4l behind Powerdress (9-0) at Newmarket 5f mdn fll stks (4) gd in Apr.

Hot In Havana 66-1 (9-0) Slowly into stride and went left start, raced keenly towards rear, never on terms, 9th of 10, 14 1/4l behind Ocean Cloud (9-0) at Kempton 5f fll stks (5) pol in Mar.
