    Verdict

    All of these step up in distance with Alphonse Le Grande 3lb higher than when scoring at Wolverhampton in December. Hoffman has been gelded since last in action at Southwell in January and makes his handicap debut along with RUSHFORD. The latter never figured in three outings last term but will almost certainly improve for this extra distance and Sir Mark Prescott’s yard boasts a good strike rate at the track.
