        Verdict

        River Club, Dramatic Turn and Excessive are the three to look at here and Excessive can come out on top. River Club is bred to enjoy the going and could go well at a nice price. A son of Kyllachy out of a mare who won over the trip and who is a half sister to prolific winning sprinter Bishops Court, he looks an interesting debutant although he may need the experience. Amanda Perrett's Dramatic Turn is a daughter of Pivotal and she showed she enjoyed the soft ground when leading for a long way on her Newbury debut. She is likely to improve for the run and looks sure to go close. Excessive ran well on her debut on easy ground at Lingfield and made eye catching late progress to finish a close third. That represents the best form in the race and Excessive can prove too much for the opposition.
