        Verdict

        CELESTATION has twice been headed in the closing stages over this trip since landing a 7f Chester maiden on ground with some give and Mark Johnston's filly will take some catching. Di Alta made a successful debut at Newbury in October, beating Johnston's Dal Riata a neck, but the runner-up has been well beaten in all subsequent starts. Carol showed plenty of promise as a juvenile and ran well enough on her return to action here to be considered but Harebell was beaten a long way on her reappearance at Newbury. Marilyn won a Yarmouth maiden in July and was having her first start since when in touch for a long way in a Newmarket handicap last month so she should be capable of better.
