Verdict

Michael Bell has struck form in the past couple of weeks and HART STOPPER was a winner for the yard at Windsor a fortnight ago. The ground was riding fast that day which it won't be here but there's no reason why he won't be suited by the conditions and a 6lb rise doesn't look enough to halt his progress. Glacier Point was well supported on her reappearance in a Bath maiden but disappointed while Father McKenzie has been a bit inconsistent since landing a Pontefract maiden in September and was beaten 6l into second last time. Cappananty Con has shown little on Turf but has improved on the all-weather over the winter and wouldn't need much more to get into contention. Angel Palanas reappears after a long break but it was soft ground when he ran his best race to date at Redcar in October so conditions should suit.
