Verdict
Hawkhurst was second over 3m here 10 days ago having been placed in a chase at Sedgefield before that but he’s nothing special and is taken on today with NEW LIST (NAP). Successful between the flags in Ireland, he clearly found 2m too short at Wetherby last month but shaped with promise and can open his account under Rules here. Ripstick and Talkofgold are other winning pointers making their debut under Rules while Queen Of Avalon can improve on her third at Kelso.
