      Verdict

      Simon Crisford won this last year and Be Prepared, a half-brother to a 6f all-weather winner, will know his job. Dubai Station's yard hasn't been in the best of form while Homespin is mainly bred for artificial surfaces. Oh Purple Reign cost 45,000gns and is the second foal of a mare who produced a 7f winner with her first offspring to race. OTTOMAN COURT is by Shamardal out of a 7f/1m winner who produced the smart Swift Rose with her first foal. His yard remains in top form and he can see off Port Winston, an inexpensive purchase who showed very good pace over the minimum at Windsor but couldn't quicken. Ropey Guest was the most expensive of these at the sales though he's likely to be suited by another furlong.
