In depth

Verdict

All five can have some sort of case argued for them but all have questions to answer too. Red Flyer, still a maiden, may need to come down a few more pounds and Norman Kindu has been beaten a long way the last twice since scoring at Wetherby, so is hard to judge. Desert Quest showed his best form by far the last day when upped significantly in trip and looks a threat receiving considerable weight all round, although he's up in grade. Crystal Guard ran his best race when a close second over 1m2f at Brighton but now steps up a further half mile, so FANDABIDOZI is the choice. He's suited by trip and ground and has performed consistently on all starts this term.
