Halfwaytoparadise gets the confident vote to get the better of Bathwick Emma and Tasalla. The selection will have her ideal conditions today and she has shown steady improvement on each of her three runs so far. She was a good second behind Hogmaneigh at Ayr last time and with nominal improvement she will be difficult to beat. Bathwick Emma has been a little disappointing on her last two starts but she would have claims on the pick of her form and she is respected from what looks a good draw. Tasalla is a well-related newcomer from a top yard and he is certainly entitled to plenty of respect in this company, although he is bred to be better over further and for that reason we will take him on. El Alamein and Endless Night are others interesting newcomers who are worth a second look in the market, but Halfwaytoparadise has plenty in her favour today and should take plenty of beating.
